The Deets Are Wild
Okay, so listen up. This is not the tea you wanna be sippin', but it's important. They found Samuel Bird, that 14-year-old from Alberta who went ghost in June. Turns out, he was dead the whole time, and the police just pinned Bryan Farrell, 38, with second-degree murder. That's just the tip of the iceberg, tho.
This Farrell dude is looking at like, 18 charges. We talking interfering with a body (major yikes), aggravated assault, arson (he allegedly lit something on fire π₯), illegal firearms, assaulting a cop with a weapon (bear spray!), threats, and even fraud! Like, what in the actual heck?!
Basically, Samuel was last seen on June 1st. Cops were searching everywhere, even the river. They eventually said, "Yeah, this kid is gone, and he was probably offed quick." Fast forward to now, they find his remains outside of Edmonton, and this Farrell guy is the prime suspect.
Apparently, this dude had weapons, was throwing hands, and now he's accused of straight up ending Samuel's life and hiding the body. He even allegedly torched a house and was scamming people. The police said all the fake news on social media made the investigation even harder. Smh.
Samuel's mom is thanking everyone for the support, bless her heart. Farrell's got a bail hearing coming up, but honestly, it's not looking good for him. This whole thing is just...tragic. π
