Whistler Bike Park: Cougar Drama Got Everyone Acting Sus 🚴‍♀️ 🐾

Okay, listen up, fam! Whistler Mountain Bike Park is serving some serious drama. Word on the street is that some cougars decided to be straight-up aggressive, and now parts of the park are temporarily closed. We're talking about the Creekside and Garbanzo zones – yeah, they're a no-go zone for now. No cap!

So, what happened? Apparently, on Friday around 7 p.m., two separate incidents went down. In the first one, a biker was just vibing when a cougar rolled up like, "Wassup?" Then, in the second incident, a cougar was straight-up chasing a biker for like 350 meters! That's sus behavior, even for a wild animal. Luckily, no one got scratched or bit, so that's a major W.

The Conservation Officers are on the case, tryna figure out what's going on and keep everyone safe. They even brought in the whole squad to search the area, but the cougars were nowhere to be found. Ghosts, fr. They're working with Whistler Blackcomb to make sure everyone stays safe and these closures will likely stay in effect.

And get this, a week before all this cougar craziness, the trail to Garibaldi Lake was closed because of some aggressive cougars too. It's like they're planning something, low-key.
