The saga continues in London, Ont. with the Team Canada hockey trial. Ex-teammates are droppin' receipts on the stand, the Crown's throwin' shade with texts from '18, and the judge is stayin' real. Five players pled not guilty. This case is gettin' spicy!

The Deets

Okay, fam, so the Team Canada junior hockey trial is still a whole THING. We're talkin' week four, and the tea is PIPING hot. Five former players – Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube, and Callan Foote – are facing the music after pleading not guilty to charges from an incident back in 2018. Allegedly, it all went down in a hotel room in London, Ontario.

This week, we had teammates droppin' dimes on the stand. Tyler Steenbergen spilled some tea about the complainant, and Brett Howden from the Vegas Golden Knights even got emotional up there. The Crown Attorney (aka the lawyers for the people) tried to call Howden out on some inconsistencies in his story and wanted to slide some old text messages from 2018 into the chat. Judge Maria Carroccia is still deciding if those texts are gonna be allowed. This case is high-key messy.
