In Quebec, if you own property in multiple municipalities, you can actually vote in each one of those elections. We're talking owning an apartment building, some land, maybe a cute lil' cottage somewhere. Basically, if you got the bread, you got the vote...multiple times.

The way it works is pretty simple. If you're a Canadian citizen, 18+, you get to vote where you live. But here's the plot twist: if you also own property somewhere else, boom, you get to vote there too. Just remember, you can only vote ONCE per municipality, no matter how many properties you own there. Don't get greedy!

This whole thing is kinda a throwback to the old days when only landowners had the right to vote, especially when it came to local stuff.
