Bet. So, listen up, fam. Vancouver Island University students are on a mission. A mission to create the most bussin' Nanaimo bar the world has ever seen. Like, we're talkin' HUGE. Apparently, 32 students from the culinary and pastry arts programs are teaming up to bake this absolute unit of a dessert.
Here's the tea: this Nanaimo bar is gonna be 70 feet long, weigh around 1,100 pounds, and serve approximately 3,500 slices. It's gonna be made with a classic recipe, walnuts and butter and all. No cap, this thing is gonna be epic.
But here's the sus part: they ain't even worried about Guinness World Records. Nah, they're getting the Baking Association of Canada and the Culinary Federation of Canada to certify it. Apparently, Northwest Fudge Factory in Levack, Ont. currently holds the record. But, VIU 'bout to body that, no question.
