Okay, fam, so Vancouver's planning a whole community vigil thing to remember the peeps who passed away at the Lapu Lapu Day festival. You know, 'cause some SUV decided to go rogue and drove straight into the crowd last Saturday. It's a whole mess, and everyone's still processing. Fr tho, eleven people straight up didn't make it, and like, a bunch more are in the hospital. It's so messed up. Apparently, the person driving was already dealing with some heavy mental health stuff and was even on leave from their job. The mayor's out here saying we need way more mental health support, like, ASAP, including more beds for mandatory care.

The city and the VPD (Vancouver Police Department) are doing a whole investigation into what happened. They're looking at everything, from the permits for the fest to how safe it was, and how fast everyone responded when things went south. They're tryna make sure this never happens again, no cap.
