Vancouver Sikh Temple Got Some Sketchy Graffiti 🎨😬

Okay, fam, so here's the tea. The Ross Street Temple, a Sikh gurdwara in Vancouver, got hit with some vandalism. We're talking graffiti, and not the cool kind. Apparently, someone spray-painted "murdabad," which, like, translates to "death to," on the wall. Shady, right?

The Khalsa Diwan Society, the ones who run the temple, are pointing fingers at a small group of Sikh separatists. They're saying this is part of a whole campaign to stir up drama within the Canadian Sikh community. They even dropped a statement saying it's meant to "instill fear and division." Major yikes.

To add even more context, this whole thing is happening against the backdrop of the Khalistan movement, which is about creating a separate homeland for Sikhs in India's Punjab region. It's a whole thing. This vandalism went down on the morning of the Surrey Vaisakhi parade, which is the biggest Vaisakhi parade EVER. Talk about timing, am I right?

The Vancouver Police Department is officially investigating. They're on the hunt for the culprits, trying to figure out who's responsible for this mess. The temple spokesperson said the vandalism was “extensive.” Hopefully, they catch these peeps soon. Stay woke, fam.
