Okay, fam, listen up. Last Saturday, the Lapu Lapu Day street fest in Vancouver went completely sideways. Some dude straight-up drove a car into the crowd. Eleven people didn't make it, ranging from a 5-year-old to a 65-year-old. Like, how messed up is that?

One of the victims has been ID'd as Kira Salim, who was a teacher-counselor at Fraser River Middle School and New Westminster Secondary School. Big shoutout to the school district for stepping up and offering support to everyone affected. They got counselors on deck and a 24-hour assistance center for anyone who needs it. Real talk, if you're feeling some type of way, hit them up.

The suspect, Kai-Ji Adam Lo, is 30 and has been charged with eight counts of second-degree murder, and they're probably gonna add more. Cops are saying it ain't terrorism, but they're still tryna figure out what was going through his head. Apparently, he's had some run-ins with the police and healthcare peeps before because of mental health stuff.

The mayor and the premier are all saying how shook they are, and the Prime Minister sent his condolences. It’s all bad, fr.
