Okay, so, like, Trump's out here saying that it was a major L move to kick Russia out of the G8. He thinks it's making things "more complicated," and seems to have amnesia about why they got the boot in the first place. 🙄

ICYMI, Russia got canceled from the G8 back in March 2014. Why? Because they decided to annex Crimea and start beef with Ukraine by backing some separatist groups. The whole world was like, "Nah, fam, that ain't it."

The leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain, the U.S., and the EU all signed this thing called The Hague Declaration, basically saying "peace out" to Russia. They were NOT feeling Russia's actions in Ukraine, calling the referendum in Crimea straight up illegal and a violation of international law.

Russia's Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, was all chill about it, saying the G8 is just a "casual hangout," like a club that can't actually kick anyone out. 😂

But here's the tea: Russia's still flexing in the G20, so they haven't been totally exiled. Still, Trump's comments are kinda sus considering the OG reason Russia got the boot. 🤔
