Okay, so, heavy stuff: a silver whip straight-up yeeted into a minivan on the 401, and three youngins passed away. Three others got hurt bad, but are stable now. The driver of the silver car, some 19-year-old dude, is getting grilled for driving while toasted. Everyone's feelings are hurt. Stay safe out there, y'all.
The Deets
Yo, listen up. This is a major L situation. On the off-ramp from Highway 401 to Renforth Drive, this silver Dodge Caravan, was driving sus fast, like, no chill at all. Then it went and slammed right into the back of a black Chrysler minivan that was just chilling at a red light. Big oof.
Here's where it gets real. Three kids, a 15-year-old dude, a 13-year-old dude, and a 6-year-old sis, they didn't make it. Straight up heartbreaking. Three other people in the minivan, their 35-year-old mama, a 10-year-old bro, and a 40-year-old friend, are messed up too, but the doctors say they're gonna pull through, thankfully.
Turns out the dude driving the Caravan, this 19-year-old named Ethan Lehouillier, was allegedly driving while not sober. Cops arrested him on the spot, and now he's facing some serious charges like impaired driving causing death, and dangerous driving. This is not a vibe, fam.
The Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, even chimed in, saying the dude should get the max punishment. The police are asking anyone who saw anything or has video footage to hit them up ASAP. Renforth Drive is still closed while they figure everything out. Real talk, this whole situation is just tragic.
