The Deets

Okay, fam, listen up. Toronto PD just locked up a 34-year-old woman named Genevieve Reist. Why? Because she allegedly decided to go full Karen on some TTC buses in North York. We're talking sus comments thrown at young people on the Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West route back in September and October.

Apparently, the first incident went down on September 15th, when she allegedly started spitting hate at three young passengers. Then, on October 31st, she allegedly did it again to another young person. Like, what's good? 🤨

The police described her as having either blonde or black hair, rocking a beanie and a black jacket with a red sweater. She's been charged with criminal harassment and is set to appear in court on December 17th. If she's found guilty, the judge might throw the book at her because this was potentially hate-motivated. Big yikes!

The police are also tryna figure out if they can hit her with even more charges if they can prove this was all fueled by bias, prejudice, or straight-up hate. Stay woke, fam. This ain't it. 🙅‍♀️
