The Deets

Listen up, fam. There's this retired baker, Ken Reid, from Owen Sound, and he's out here doing the most. He built a massive Lego replica of the Chi-Cheemaun ferry, and it's honestly kinda iconic. We're talking nine feet, eight inches of pure Lego flex. He put in, like, six to eight hours a day on this thing from February to mid-May. That's dedication, no cap.

Apparently, he used 92,000 pieces! 92K! My brain can't even compute that. He was inspired by the ferry's 50th anniversary and some TV show about adult Lego stans, so he went full send. He even got to hop on the actual ferry to snap some pics for reference. Talk about going the extra mile!

The hull was the real headache, but he pulled it off. Now Science North, the Chi-Cheemaun organization, and the Tom Thomson Art Gallery are all thirsty to display it. That's how you know you've made it, bruh.

And get this – this isn't even his only masterpiece. He also built Casa Loma, a Minas Anor replica from Lord of the Rings, and even a nine-foot Titanic. This guy's Lego game is on another level. He's planning more builds, but says he will probably chill during the summer. Summer is for chilling, real.
