Alright, so listen up. This 85-year-old ex-teacher, Brian Melicke Moore, thought he could gaslight the court and get away with some messed up stuff he did to young boys back in the day. We're talking way back, like '76 to '82, and even a random incident between '05 and '07. Nine counts, fam, for being a straight-up creep.

He tried to pull the "delay" card, saying it took too long to charge him, which like, violated his rights and whatnot. He even tried to say the whole thing was sus and an abuse of process. But the judge, Judge Robert Hamilton, wasn't born yesterday. He shut down all that cap, saying the case was basically on pause until some new tea spilled in 2022.

The judge also clapped back at the "abuse of process" claim, saying the Crown ain't do nothing shady. Moore tried to say they dragged their feet laying charges after he got nicked, but the judge was like, "Nah, that was the cops' fault," and ain't gonna let him off the hook for that. Now he's gotta face the music, with his sentencing hearing set for July. It's looking like a certified L for this dude.
