Sus Situation in Northern Sask: Dude Nabbed for Sketchy Kidnapping Stuff 🚨

Alright, so word on the street is, Loon Lake RCMP got a tip on May 15th about a woman maybe getting snatched against her will on Island Lake First Nation. Like, that's a major L.

Turns out this dude rolled up into a crib with a gun, but didn't pop off, thank god. But he dipped with the woman in tow. Because of the seriousness, they dropped a dangerous person alert for Island Lake First Nation and surrounding areas, 'cause they couldn't find these two. Major sketch.

Next day, on May 16th, they found the getaway car ditched off Highway 699. Car was empty. Cops started searching, and eventually caught this 24-year-old from Canoe Narrow. Big W for the good guys.

Now this guy's facing charges like kidnapping with a firearm, pointing said firearm, assault, and stealing the whip. The woman was found and checked out by the medics. She's gonna be okay. Cops also seized an airsoft pistol and a busted firearm. Dangerous person alert? Cancelled. The dude's due in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on May 20th. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
