TL:DR

Bruh, divers just stumbled upon a whole shipwreck at the bottom of Lake Ontario. This thing is ancient, like 1800s ancient, and it's still in pretty good shape. Missing a couple of key features, but still, kinda sus. Scientists are geekin' out over this one, tryna figure out its whole backstory. Def gonna drop some knowledge about shipbuilding back in the day.

The Deets

Okay, so listen up, fam. Divers were just vibing in Lake Ontario and they found something kinda wild: a whole *shipwreck*. And not just any shipwreck, this thing is estimated to be from the 1800s, which is kinda wild. They could tell by the ropes, apparently.

The crazy part? This ship is still standing up straight! Both masts are still there, which is a total W. Most ships from that era are usually more broken up at this point. But this ship, it's just chilling at the bottom of the lake like it's no big deal.

Of course, there's some sus stuff too. Like, it's missing a centerboard and the wheel on the back. Where did those go? 🤔

Turns out, some university noticed something kinda weird in 2017, too, but they didn't know what it was. Now we know this thing is gonna spill some serious tea on what shipbuilding was like back then. They're doing more surveys and tests to figure out exactly what ship this is. This find will lowkey change history!
