The Deets

Okay, so peep this tea. This woman, Charrybelle Talaue, allegedly tried to finesse her way into being a nurse, but it was all cap. Like, big time. She was working on Vancouver Island, but turns out, she allegedly wasn't even a real nurse. The police sus her for fraud, forgery, and straight-up impersonating a nurse, starting back in December 2023 in the Capital Regional District. And apparently, Alberta was in the mix too, so it was hella widespread.

But wait, it gets even more sus. The cops are saying she was using a bunch of different names, trying to stay incognito. When her trial was coming up, she dipped. Like, straight-up ghosted. That's when the warrants dropped, and the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement got involved to track her down in Idaho. BUSTED.

Now, she's back in Canada, in custody, and gonna be facing the judge on May 12th in Victoria. Back in 2023, the B.C. health minister was all like, "People faking their credentials in healthcare are disrespecting the real ones," which, facts. And a reminder for y'all to double-check if your nurse is legit on the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives website.
