Alright, listen up, cause this is important. This dude named Danny Edward Depew just admitted he's guilty of two counts of child sexual offenses in Castlegar Court. This ain't just some petty crime; we're talkin' internet luring of someone under 16 and slingin' around some seriously NSFW stuff to a minor. This all went down on August 3, 2024, in Castlegar.
And it doesn't stop there. He was also hit with charges for tryna hook up a sexual situation with a kid and for breaking probation. But the Crown's probably gonna drop those charges at sentencing, which is… something, I guess.
The judge ordered a pre-sentence report with a psych eval, cause duh. He's due back in court on August 27 to lock down the report and set a date for sentencing. So, basically, he's in time out until then.
But here's the real kicker: this ain't his first rodeo. Depew's got a whole history of this kinda garbage. Back in 2020, he got nailed for luring a kid online and ignoring a court order.
