Alright, listen up, fam. On May 15th, the Loon Lake RCMP got a DM saying a girl might've been snatched against her will on Island Lake First Nation. Turns out, this dude, Mike Bouvier, rolled up to a crib with a strap (but didn't pop off, thankfully) and dipped with a girl.
The Saskatchewan RCMP was like, "Nah, this ain't it," and dropped a "dangerous person" alert on May 16th. It was a whole vibe of "lock your doors" for Island Lake First Nation and nearby areas.
The cops eventually found the suspect's ride abandoned off Highway 699. Apparently, it was a stolen whip too, double L. They brought in the K-9 unit and a drone to search the woods, and boom, they found Bouvier trying to play hide-and-seek. The girl was found shortly after, and she was checked out for injuries, but thankfully she only had minor issues.
Turns out, Bouvier was packing some heat - an airsoft handgun and another gun that didn't even work! Now he's facing a whole laundry list of charges: kidnapping with a firearm, pointing a firearm, illegal weapon possession, threats, assault, and stealing a car. His court date is set for May 20th in Meadow Lake Provincial Court. Don't be like Bouvier, it ain't worth it, period.
