Yo, what's good, fam? Listen up 'cause this is kinda messed up. Two people were just minding their business, fishing for gaspereau near Cow Bay Road in Eastern Passage on May 4th, when things went south, real quick.

Apparently, they got straight-up attacked. We're talking serious injuries here, like one of them is in the hospital fighting for their life. No cap, this is heavy. 😔

The cops rolled up and arrested two suspects at the scene: a grown-up and a youngin. They also seized some sus stuff, like fishing hooks (ironic, right?) and a metal pipe, allegedly used in the attack. 😬

The youngin is locked up and facing mad charges, including aggravated assault. The older dude got released but has to show up in court in June. But here's where it gets even more twisted...

The RCMP is investigating whether this whole thing was a hate crime. Word is they got some info from witnesses that makes them think this attack might have been motivated by hate. If that's the case, you already know they're gonna throw the book at these guys. 📚
