Okay, shifting gears to something a little less ✨ and a little more 😬. Word on the street is they found a body on Wreck Beach. Yeah, not the vibe.

University RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are on the case, tryna figure out what happened. Apparently, this all went down before 7 a.m. on May 28th.

Someone who was there said they saw responders trying to bring someone back, and that the person they were helping was only wearing shorts and looked like they'd been in the water. Fire department, ambulances, and even the Canadian Coast Guard showed up, so it was a whole scene.

They're saying the person was in their early 30s, and their family knows. They aren't dropping names or anything just yet, but the witness said it was a man. This is lowkey the second death at Wreck Beach this year; the first one was on April 17th, when a 26-year-old man drowned. Stay safe out there, fam.
