Okay, so listen up, fam. Early Sunday morning, like 4 AM early, a whole fire situation went down in St. Thomas on Talbot Street. We're talking a full-on inferno at 616 Talbot, affecting two commercial buildings and a whole future apartment building. Like, that's a lot of real estate going up in smoke, no cap.

The firefighters, about 25 of them, rolled up and started battling the blaze from every angle they could find. Apparently, the top floor of one of the buildings just straight-up collapsed. Big yikes.

Now, here's where it gets sus. The owner of 616 Talbot Street, Brenndan Stevenson, is NOT happy. Dude just renovated the place and was about to finish up the residential units when BAM! Fire. He's saying there's been break-ins and thefts before, which makes this whole thing seem extra shady.

And the tea? St. Thomas PD is calling it arson. Someone def did this on purpose. The good news is that the fire didn't spread to the Indwell building next door (they got tenants, so that would have been a major L) or the City Bus Depot.

Talbot Street's still closed between Ross Street and Princess Avenue while they investigate and clean up the mess. They even had to bring in an excavator to demolish the building. This whole thing's a mess, for real. Stay woke, fam. 👀
