Okay, so the Dryden Creek wildfire near Squamish is still doing its thing, covering a whole 59.5 hectares. But, like, don't even trip. The BC Wildfire Service is on it, heavy. They're saying it could be "held" real soon - meaning they don't expect it to spread anymore. Fingers crossed, y'all! 🙏

There's like, 65 firefighters and five helicopters putting in WORK, especially on the south and southwest sides. They're hitting the northern side hard with those air resources too. Mad respect to the heroes out there!

Heads up, the evac alert is still a thing for some areas, so stay woke. Alice Lake Provincial Park is straight-up evacuated and closed, so scratch that off your weekend plans. 🙅‍♀️

Weather-wise, it's kinda sus. Cloudy skies, cooler temps, and maybe some rain. But, word is, a ridge of high pressure's coming through this weekend, bringing clear skies and warmer temps. Then another weather trough with showers early next week. Mother Nature, make up your mind!
