Sketchy Sitch in Assiniboine Park: Sus Dude, Assault, and the Po-Po 🚨

Alright, listen up, cause this is kinda wild. So, like, this 25-year-old girl was just vibing on a bike path near Assiniboine Park, right by the Roblin Boulevard entrance. Then, out of nowhere, this dude rolls up on her, heavy-set kinda guy, straight-up demanding her cash. What?!

But here's where it gets interesting. Some people saw what was going down and jumped in to help. The dude, probably shook, bounced before the cops even showed. He was rocking a dark jacket with the hood up, a dark baseball hat, those comfy charcoal-colored sweatpants, glasses or sunglasses (can't be too sure), and black shoes. Basic fit, but still sus.

Fast forward a few hours to like 5:30 p.m., the cops get another call back to the area for a medical sitch. Turns out, it's the same dude! The fire paramedics were already there. They hauled him off to the hospital, where he's currently stable. And guess what? They ID'd him as the same guy who tried to rob the girl earlier! 🤯

Now, here's the tea: they haven't charged him for the assault yet, BUT he's locked up on some other warrant. The cops are still digging into what happened, and they're asking if anyone saw anything or has pics or vids to hit them up. But the cops are saying there is no current concern for public safety.
