Alright, so boom. The Kamloops RCMP just dropped a public notice about this guy, Taylor Dueck. Apparently, he's a "dangerous sex offender," which is already a major red flag. He's 30, and he's been catching charges for, like, a decade. Apparently, he's also "mentally handicapped".
The receipts? He's got convictions for sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon (yikes!), and messing with someone under 16. This all went down in Abbotsford and Kelowna. And get this, in Feb 2024, he got hit with MORE charges - invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16, sexual assault, AND breaking probation - for something that happened with an 11-year-old in Kelowna. Straight up not Gucci.
Apparently, he got released from custody 14 months before the incident without a Public Interest Disclosure, and the Kelowna RCMP's request for a public statement before his release was denied. Now that he's moved to Kamloops, they're finally dropping the Public Interest Disclosure because they think he's a "serious and imminent risk" to anyone under 16. Facts.
Back in 2020, they even had to put out a public notice when he was living in Abbotsford. And two years before that, they wouldn't give him parole 'cause they thought he was gonna "commit an offense causing death or serious harm to another person." Sheesh.
He's got a bunch of rules he gotta follow, like house arrest, staying away from places where kids might be, and absolutely no contact with anyone under 16. If you see him, he's about five foot nine, around 175 pounds, medium skin tone, blue eyes, and kinda losing his hair. Stay woke, fam!
