Fam, listen up! This dashcam vid just dropped and it's straight-up chaotic. Apparently, on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. near Vernon, this pickup truck was trying to pull a fast one and cut across Highway 97 at Old Kamloops Road. Big mistake, HUGE.
This semi-truck was cruising southbound, minding its business, when suddenly this pickup just yeets out in front of it. The semi didn't even have time to react, and SMACK! The semi rear-ended that pickup so hard, it’s not even funny. According to the semi driver, the pickup driver didn't even look before pulling out... major sus.
The pickup truck is looking ROUGH, y'all. We talking major rear-end damage – like, the whole back is caved in and a wheel straight-up went MIA. But here's the crazy part: somehow, NO ONE GOT HURT. BC Emergency Health Services sent two ambulances, but nobody needed a ride to the hospital. That's a major W, tbh.
The RCMP confirmed the pickup was tryna make a left turn onto the highway when it got clapped. Moral of the story? Always look both ways, especially when a whole semi is coming your way. Stay safe out there, besties!
