The Deets

Yo, listen up! Thursday was kinda sus in Saskatchewan. Environment Canada dropped a bunch of severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings, and now they're investigating like eight "likely" tornadoes. Eight! Can you even?

So, word on the street is a resident near Kronau (and Vibank from another source) saw a whole funnel cloud and reported damage to their neighbor's crib and outbuildings. Like, sheds and storage buildings got messed up, which is a major L. Harold Posehn (another source) was on the scene like a real-life storm chaser and gave the deets on the damage.

Environment Canada is also looking into potential touchdowns east of Estevan and southeast of Regina. Kyle McAulay from Environment Canada was all, "During these warnings, take cover in a basement or the lowest point possible," and "Stay informed, fam!"

Heads up, tho! Rainfall warnings are in effect for the southern half of Saskatchewan this weekend. Areas around Outlook, Kindersley, and Leader are expected to get drenched with 50 to 70 millimeters of rain. Regina could get up to 30 millimeters, and Saskatoon could get upwards of 50 millimeters. Stay dry, y'all!
