Okay, listen up, y'all. Saskatoon is dealing with some realness right now. There was a shooting at the Riviera Motor Inn on May 17th around 5 a.m. A 20-year-old man got shot and, sadly, didn't make it. Big L.
The police already charged a 27-year-old dude with first-degree murder, but they're also hunting for another suspect, Lawrence Opikowew. And word is, this dude is considered armed and dangerous. Yikes. He's 26 years old, Indigenous, 6'4", 190 lbs, with short black hair and brown eyes. So, if you see him, do NOT approach. That's a major key right there.
This is the third homicide in Saskatoon this year. The first was back on January 20th when a 23-year-old got stabbed multiple times, and the second was on April 20th when a man was found dead in an apartment. Last year, 2024, they had 15 homicides. The vibes are just off, no cap.
