Okay, fam, listen up. Word on the street is that over half – like, 53.4% – of registered nurses in Saskatchewan are seriously side-eyeing their jobs and thinking about switching it up to something else. That's according to a survey by the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN), so it's legit.

And it's not just about the vibes being off. The survey also dropped some major truth bombs about how short-staffing is messing everything up. Like, 82.4% of nurses think it's putting patients at risk, 95.9% say it's making wait times longer than a TikTok marathon, 92% are seeing treatments get delayed or straight-up missed, and 79% think it's making patients' health worse. Sheesh.

Of course, the Opposition NDP is all over this, blaming the provincial government for "18 years of mismanagement." They're saying the government isn't listening to the frontline workers and that the whole healthcare system is in its flop era. They even called out the government for backing out on a promise to deliver 24/7 urgent care, which is a big L.

But the government's clapping back, saying they're on it with their Health-care Human Resources Action Plan. They claim they've hired more nurses, plus they're flexing that chronically vacant nursing positions are down and the total number of nurses is up. So, who's telling the truth? 🤔
