Ride for Dad: Motorbikes, Awareness, and Kicking Cancer's Butt 🏍️🎗️

Okay, so listen up, fam. The Ride for Dad event just went down in Ottawa, and it was straight-up epic. We're talking over 1,000 motorcyclists hitting the road to raise awareness and, like, a ton of money to fight prostate cancer. It's the 25th year they've been doing this, which is honestly kinda iconic.

Prostate cancer is a real issue, BTW. It's the third-leading cause of cancer death for Canadian men, and apparently, like, one in eight dudes are gonna get it. Seriously sus stat.

But the Ride for Dad is doing the most. This Ottawa chapter has already donated over $8 million to The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, and nationally, they've raised over $43 million! That's wild. They even rode past The Ottawa Hospital and CHEO during the event.

One of the Ride for Dad members in Swift Current, Ed Wiebe, knows the battle against cancer all too well. He's been dealing with it since '21, going through surgeries and radiation. But he's still out there, raising over $9,400 since 2022. What a king! His goal is to hit $10,000 in '25. Let's get him there, fam!
