Aight, so boom. The Quebec government is straight-up defending "Go Habs Go!" (you know, for the Montreal Canadiens) because they're saying it's a Quebec thing. Like, part of their whole vibe and cultural identity. 🇨🇦🏒

But here's where it gets spicy. The French-language watchdog in Quebec was throwing shade 'cause the transit agency was using "Go Habs Go!" on buses. They got a complaint last year about the "Go" since it's English, and the whole thing escalated from there. They were also pressed about buses saying “Go! CF Mtl Go!” for the Montreal soccer club. ⚽️
