Ottawa Teen Mad Sketchy After Sus Hate Crime on the Bus 🚌

Okay, so listen up, fam. This is actually kinda messed up. A Muslim teen in Ottawa was just trying to get from point A to point B on the Route 63 OC Transpo bus when some random dude decided to be a whole clown. Like, full-on hate crime status.

Word is, this dude, Cyrus Amir Souaid, started spitting anti-Muslim slurs, then slapped the teen, and even threatened to end their life. Like, that's a whole new level of extra. This all went down on August 11th, and honestly, the fact that other people on the bus were too shook to step in is kinda sus. Witnesses did snitch to the police, tho.

The 19-year-old victim is now too scared to even look at a bus, which is totally understandable. Can't even blame them, fr fr.

But here's the wild part: when they finally caught up with this dude on August 20th, he was all like, "Nah, I ain't even sorry. I'd do it again." Seriously? What is bro yapping about? He's got charges for assault, threats, and trying to stir up hate in public. He's locked up, waiting for a bail hearing. In addition, two other hate crimes occurred. An elderly Jewish woman was stabbed at a grocery store by someone who was charged with a hate crime, and the N-word was spray-painted on the grounds of the Stittsville Muslim Association summer camp.
