The Deets

Alright, so boom. The RCMP in Nova Scotia pulled over this black Kia Sorento on Highway 104 near Amherst. Inside, they found five kilos of that white stuff (cocaine, duh), a firearm that was lowkey trying to look like an AK-47, plus some ammo and a stack of cash. Major red flags, right?

Turns out, the driver, Scott Rempel, a 37-year-old dude from Welland, Ontario, is now facing some serious charges. We're talking possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Big L for him.

But wait, there's more! This whole thing is apparently connected to an outlaw motorcycle gang operating out of St. Catharines. The OPP in Ontario did their own raid, seizing over 100 kilos of suspected cocaine and over $215,000 in Canadian dollars from a crib in Richmond Hill. Four other peeps got arrested in that operation: David Crothers, Randy McGean, Sherry Stillwell, and Cody Soulliere.

The street value of all the drugs seized? A whopping $10.1 million. No cap, this was a huge bust. Rempel is currently chilling in custody and is scheduled to appear in Amherst provincial court. This whole investigation was a long-term flex, starting back in January 2025, involving the OPP Biker Enforcement Unit and police forces from Niagara, York, and Halton. They were tracking drug trafficking believed to be connected to the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, which was moving weight throughout the GTA and shipping it all the way to Nova Scotia. Sketchy af!
