Yo, listen up! Emergencies are low-key stressful, but you know what's even more stressful? Not knowing what to do with your pets. It's time to get your act together and make sure your furry, scaly, or feathery fam are good to go when things get real.

First things first: PREP! Take some fire pics of your pets for ID purposes (you know, in case they wander off on a side quest). Update those microchips with your current addy and digits – this is a must, no cap! Also, plan how you're gonna yeet them outta there if you gotta bounce.

When it's go-time and you gotta dip, focus on snatching your pets first. Food and water can be found at shelters, so don't stress over that. BUT if you got time to pack a bag, throw in a collar, leash, carrier (essential!), and something that smells like you (like an old hoodie) to keep them chill.

Medications are also key! Pack those meds, or at least snap a pic of 'em so you can show a vet what's up. And if you gotta leave your pets behind (major L, but sometimes it happens), close doors to keep them from hiding in weird places and leave a note for the heroes (firefighters, etc.) telling them where your pets are at.
