Yo, so like, New Brunswick is going through it rn. Seventeen active wildfires? That's a whole lotta smoke. Four of them are straight-up untamed. We're talking Beaver Lake Stream, Rocky Brook, Peatmoss Piles, and the Moncton area - those fires are doing their own thing, no cap.

Ten other fires are being patrolled, so they're at least keeping an eye on them. And three are contained, which is a W, tbh. But fam, listen up: there's a province-wide burn ban. That means ZERO open flames. No bonfires, no backyard BBQs, absolutely nothing. They're serious serious.

If you're near any of this wildfire activity, listen up. You gotta be ready to bounce ASAP. Pack a bag with water, food, a flashlight, radio, extra batteries, first-aid kit, masks, any meds you need, and don't forget the pet food if you have a furry bestie. Basically, everything you need to survive for at least 72 hours, just in case things get real.

Update! Good news, as of Saturday, the number of active wildfires went down to 16. The Chief’s fire is contained! But the Beaver Lake Stream and Rocky Brook fires are still wildin'.
