Montreal Students 'Bout to Throw Down for Palestine ✊🇵🇸

Okay, listen up, fam. Montreal students are about to make some serious noise. They're planning a massive strike – we're talking potentially over 81,000 students ditching class on Monday and Tuesday to stand in solidarity with Palestine. It's all going down because student groups are teaming up to say, "We see you, Palestine, and we got your back."

Like, at least 59 student associations from colleges and universities are already onboard. We're talking schools like CEGEP Marie Victorin, CEGEP Saint Laurent, Concordia University, Dawson College, Laval University, Maisonneuve College, McGill University, Université de Montréal, and UQAM – the whole squad. Basically, if you're in Montreal, your school might be looking kinda empty next week.

Why the strike? It's all in response to a call from the Disinvest in Palestine (D4P) collective and the Convergence of Anti-Capitalist Struggles (CLAC). They're trying to put pressure on institutions to support Palestinian rights. And it ain't just about skipping class – there's gonna be a whole week of events, activities, and workshops on campuses. Plus, there's a huge rally planned for October 7 at 4 p.m. at Square-Victoria. If you're tryna show your support, that's where it's at.
