Montreal Dad Lowkey Jumped in Front of His Kiddos 😭 Suspect Got Cuffed 🚨

Okay, so check it: a 32-year-old Jewish father was vibing with his three kids at Dickie Moore Park in Montreal when some random dude decided to start beef. Like, this dude rolled up and sprayed the dad with water, then shoved him on the ground. And it gets worse – he started throwing hands and feet, punching and kicking him while his kids were watching 💀.

Someone even caught the whole thing on camera and posted it on X, showing the suspect straight-up disrespecting the guy’s kippah (that's the head covering some Jewish people wear) and tossing it into the splash pad. SMH. A Muslim woman who recorded the video shared it with the victim. Mad respect to her 🙏.

The dad ended up in the hospital with a busted nose and other injuries, but thankfully he's gonna be okay. But lowkey, the mental damage to him and his kids is gonna be a lot. Montreal’s Jewish community is obviously heated about this, and politicians are chiming in too, like the Prime Minister of Canada, the Mayor of Montreal, the Quebec Premier, and even Israel’s foreign minister.

Good news (sorta): Montreal police cuffed a 24-year-old suspect on Monday. They’re grilling him right now, but no charges have been filed yet. Apparently, a local recognized the dude from the video and snitched to the cops 🤫. The police are still investigating, but for now, they aren’t calling it a hate crime just yet.

B'nai Brith Canada is relieved they caught someone and wants some serious action against hate. Word is the cops took like 28 minutes to show up after the call came in which, like, is a bit much.
