Missing Kids in Nova Scotia: The Vibe is Off 😔

The Situation

Okay, so listen up. This is kinda heavy. Two kids, Lily Sullivan (she's 6) and Jack Sullivan (4 years old), are straight up missing from their house in Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia. They were last seen on Friday morning, and like, nobody's seen them since. It's been days, and everyone's low-key panicking.

The whole community is out there searching, like, over 100 people, helicopters, the whole shebang. Drones are buzzing around, tryna spot these kids. But the RCMP? They're saying, "Nah, we good. No Amber Alert needed." Which is making everyone scratch their heads.

Why no Amber Alert, you ask? Apparently, the cops think the kids just wandered off into the woods or something, not that they got snatched. But their mom was like, "Hold up, run that Amber Alert," but they didn't listen. An Alert was sent to Antigonish, Colchester, and Pictou counties.

Now, they DID send out a "vulnerable missing persons alert" 'cause lil' kids, ya know, need help with, like, everything. That alert was specifically issued in Pictou County. Plus, they blasted a "broadcast intrusive alert" to three counties. But still, no Amber Alert.

The criteria for an Amber Alert is usually if the kid's under 18, they think they got abducted and are in major danger, and they have info that could actually help find them. But the RCMP is standing firm. There is no evidence to suggest the children were abducted.

The search manager acknowledged that footprints had been found. A critical incident stress management team may be brought in.
