Okay, so the lowdown is, that kayaker dude, Luc Bourgeois from New Brunswick, who went ghost last week? Yeah, they found him. Sadly, he's no longer with us. His fam actually found his body, which is both heartbreaking and, like, a little bit of closure, ya know?

He bounced from Pointe-du-Chene Wharf last Thursday morning around 1 p.m. and then *poof*, gone. They found his kayak and life jacket near Caissie-Cape later that day, which was sus AF.

Everyone and their mom was looking for him. We're talking the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, the RCMP, the Canadian Coast Guard, Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue, plus a bunch of civilians. Big ups to everyone who put in the work to try and find him, fr. The RCMP dipped out on Sunday, tho.

His mom posted on Facebook about it. She's obviously super bummed, but also relieved they finally found him. She was shouting out everyone who showed love and support during the search. Real talk, the feels are real on this one.

Luc was only 34 and leaves behind his 7-year-old son. Keep his fam in your thoughts, y'all. This is straight-up tragic.
