TL:DR

So, check it: 46-year-old woman got nicked by the cops in Kenora 'cause of a warrant. Ends up in the slammer, then hits medical distress. Paramedics rush her to the hospital, but it's GG. Now the SIU's on the case, tryna figure out if the cops low-key messed up. They're asking for anyone with info to slide into their DMs. Sketchy vibes all around, tbh.

The Deets

Okay, fam, listen up 'cause this is kinda wild. A 46-year-old woman was chilling in Kenora when the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) rolled up and arrested her on an outstanding warrant. Standard stuff, right? Wrong.

She gets put in a cell, and then, early morning on April 27th, she starts going into medical distress. Like, major yikes. The paramedics show up, do their thing, and rush her to the hospital. They even put her on a ventilator, but it was too late. She passed away at 5:17 p.m.

Now, here's where it gets sus. Because this happened while she was in police custody, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is all over it. They're like the police police, you feel me? They investigate whenever someone dies or gets seriously hurt when the cops are involved. They've already sent three investigators and two forensic investigators to the scene.

They did an autopsy to try and figure out exactly what went down. The SIU wants to hear from anyone who might have info about this whole situation. If you saw something, say something! Hit up the lead investigator, because this whole thing is giving major "something ain't right" vibes.
