Okay, fam, so here's the tea. Some wild stuff went down in Skidegate. A person was walking when BAM! They got hit by a car on April 22nd. We're talking straight up gone after that, no cap. It all happened on Front Street, around 1:17 p.m.

The cops rolled up and said it was a "targeted attack," which is sus AF. They already snagged a 32-year-old dude from Skidegate. North District Major Crimes Unit is all over this, and Daajing Giids RCMP is still at the scene, doing their thing, gathering the evidence and talking to witnesses.

Skidegate Band Council was like, "Nah, this ain't it," and put a curfew on the village. RCMP is stepping up their patrol game, trying to keep the peace and listen to people's worries. The Council of the Haida Nation (CHN) is backing the investigation and telling everyone to support the family.
