Okay, listen up, this is heavy. There was a whole rock slide near Bow Glacier Falls in Banff National Park. Apparently, a bunch of hikers got caught in it, and it's not looking good. We're talking serious injuries, and tragically, at least one person has passed away. This is hitting different.

Emergency crews, including Parks Canada, RCMP, Lake Louise firefighters, and STARS air ambulance, were quick to respond. They're flying people out to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary for treatment. Mad respect to the first responders doing the most rn.

The rock slide happened near Bow Lake, which is a super popular hiking spot. It's usually a vibe, but today it was anything but. Highway 93 near Bow Lake is gonna be closed for a bit while they sort everything out. So if you were planning on heading that way, maybe chill and find another spot. The trail is usually like a 4.4 km hike that takes about 3 hours but is currently closed.
