Okay, so listen up, fam. Dorset's about to get all respectful and emotional. They're holding a memorial tingz at Alners Gorse on May 31st at 1 pm for some Canadian airmen who tragically YEETED in a Wellington bomber crash way back on May 29, 1944. It was near D-Day, which, like, puts things into perspective, ya know?

The whole crew was cooked in the crash – Sgt William Geddes, Flying Officer Charles Blackmore, Flying Officer Donald McKie, Sgt Bruce Gordon, Sgt Albert Spinks, and Flying Officer Leonard Smith. Apparently, one of them was holding on, but dipped in the arms of a Home Guard member. Sad vibes only, fr fr.

Fast forward to now, and they're dropping a plaque and the Red Arrows are gonna bless the sky with a flypast. The descendants of the airmen are gonna be there, along with RAF peeps, Canadian military, and even a codebreaker from Alan Turing's squad. They're playing The Last Post and everything. It's gonna be a whole moment to pay respects.

Dorset Police Officer Gone Bad 💀

But wait, there's more tea. On a completely different note, a Dorset police officer, PC Tyler McWalter, just got straight-up canned. Turns out he pled guilty to non-fatal strangulation. Apparently, he was out here doing chokeholds on someone outside a bar in Weymouth back in September '24. The victim got messed up, and now McWalter's jobless.

The big bosses at Dorset Police were not vibing with his behavior. They said it was a breach of professional standards and gross misconduct. No cap, he's been added to the police barred list. He's out on bail rn, waiting to get sentenced in July. Deputy Chief was like, "We expect our officers to be on their best behavior, even when they're off duty. If they're acting sus, they gon' get checked."
