So, the federal election just wrapped, and the Liberal Party is walking away with around 167 seats. That's cool and all, but they needed 172 to flex a real majority, so it's kinda mid. The Conservatives are trailing with a rough 145 seats, Bloc Quebecois got 23, the NDP is sitting sad with only 7, and the Green Party snagged a measly 1.

CTV News is reporting that Jagmeet Singh is throwing in the towel as leader of the NDP. Singh said the campaign was a two-way street between the Libs and Conservatives. Carney said he would represent everyone in his victory speech.

The Georgia Straight is confirming all the deets: the Liberal Party is projected to win approximately 167 seats, while the Conservative Party is projected to win 145 seats. The Bloc Quebecois is projected to win 23 seats, the NDP is projected to win seven seats, and the Green Party is projected to win one seat.
