Major L: Car Goes OFF at Vancouver Fest, 11 Gone 😭

Okay, so listen up, this is heavy. A Filipino heritage festival in South Vancouver straight-up turned tragic. Some dude, Kai-Ji Adam Lo, 30, decided to use his whip as a weapon and plowed into the crowd. 💔

The result? Eleven people, from little kids to grandparents (ages 5 to 65), are gone. Like, R.I.P. gone. A bunch more are in the hospital, fighting for their lives. This is a major L for the whole community, no cap.

The cops are saying it wasn't terrorism, but this Kai-Ji dude has a past with mental health struggles. He's been charged with eight counts of second-degree murder, and they're probably gonna add more charges on top of that. He's locked up, but that doesn't bring anyone back. 😔

Witnesses are saying the dude sped up and just went for it after blasting through a barricade. Regular festival goers had to hold the suspect down before the police arrived. Can you imagine the chaos? The Interim Chief straight up said it's the "darkest day in Vancouver’s history".

Even the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, had to cancel his campaign events. He was all about sending his condolences. The Philippine President and their Consulate in Vancouver are also offering support. This is hitting hard, worldwide. 🙏
