Okay, fam, brace yourselves. This is heavy. An Air India flight heading to London just yeeted itself into the ground shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad. We're talking June 12, 2025. The numbers are not it, with 241 people not making it. It's a whole tragedy.

Among those on the flight were 169 Indians, 53 British citizens, seven Portuguese nationals, and a Canadian. Turns out, the Canadian was Nirali Patel, a 32-year-old dentist from Toronto who was originally from India. She was coming back from a social trip. Her husband's planning to head to India with their kid, who's only a year old. Can you imagine?

Like, big ups to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, and Foreign Minister Anita Anand, who all dropped condolences. You know it's real when the PM gets involved. They are shipping officials to play detective about the sitch.

Apparently, she was a smartie. She got her dentist degree in India back in '16 and then got her license in Canada in 2019.
