Yo, so things took a dark turn at the Lapu-Lapu Day Block Party in Vancouver. Some 30-year-old dude from Vancouver decided to turn the street into a demolition derby and drove his ride straight into the crowd. Like, what?! 9 people are gone, and a bunch more are hurting. This event was supposed to be a vibe, celebrating Filipino culture and Lapu-Lapu Day, but now it's just a whole tragedy. 💔
The cops rolled up ASAP and cuffed the driver right then and there. They're saying it wasn't terrorism, which is a slight W, but they're still tryna figure out what was going through his head. Maybe he had a mental breakdown or something? They’re all up in the investigation, and the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney and President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos Jr. are sending their condolences, so you know it's a big deal. 🥺
