Basically, they're kinda pushing for talk therapy over gender-affirming care. Some peeps are raising their eyebrows cause there's evidence to the contrary that states the affirmation is helpful.

Like, apparently, they're saying puberty blockers might mess with your ability to have kids later, and hormone therapy has side effects. But major medical orgs are like, "Hold up, that's not the whole story." They're saying gender-affirming care is the real deal and helps kids be their authentic selves.

But here's the tea, fam! The real crisis is mental health for kids. Kids Help Phone is throwing a "BMO Walk So Kids Can Talk" event on May 4, 2025, and they're trying to stack that bread to help more kids in need. Mental health issues are no joke, and suicide is the second-biggest killer for young people in Canada! Bruh, that's messed up! The goal for the event is to raise $35,000. That's so they can keep giving free mental health help to all the youths who need it, on every platform. It allows people to connect with others in support of youth mental health. This event has been a fixture in Canada for 35 years!
