TL:DR
Major L in Hamilton, Canada. Harsimrat Randhawa, an Indian student, was just chilling at a bus stop when some beef between cars turned deadly. She caught a stray and didn't make it. Cops are on the case, and the Indian Consulate is helping the family. This is so messed up.
The Deets
Yo, this is heavy. A 21-year-old Indian student named Harsimrat Randhawa was straight-up vibing, waiting for the bus to get to her job from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Canada. Then, out of nowhere, chaos. Apparently, some peeps in a black Mercedes SUV and a white sedan were throwing hands (with guns), and she got caught in the crossfire. A stray bullet hit her, and it was game over.
The whole thing went down near Upper James Street and South Bend Road around 7:30 pm. Both cars dipped after the shooting, leaving Harsimrat... This ain't it, fam.
Hamilton PD is on the scene, tryna piece together what happened and find these clowns. They're asking anyone who was in the area between 7:15 pm and 7:45 pm to drop any dashcam or security footage they might have. Every little bit helps, ya know?
The Consulate General of India in Toronto is aware and is hooking up Harsimrat's family with whatever they need. Police Chief Frank Bergen also sent his condolences. This is a whole tragedy, and our hearts go out to her family and friends.
