Zeus, a prematurely born harbour seal is rescued in White Rock. A lil baby seal named Zeus just got snatched up in White Rock, B.C. Turns out he popped out way too early and was looking kinda sus. Vets are giving him all the TLC so he can yeet back into the ocean.

Okay, so get this: this tiny harbor seal pup, they're calling him Zeus, was found chilling in White Rock looking totally out of it. Turns out, this dude was born way before his time. Like, still rocking the baby fuzz and everything.
When the rescue squad rolled up, Zeus was a whole mess. Underweight, freezing, and starving. They were like, "Nah, this ain't it." He only weighed about 7 kilos which is very smol and he had his baby fur still, this guy was brand new 😭.
Now, he's at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre getting all the VIP treatment. They're feeding him six times a day to keep his sugar levels up which is great cuz his levels were acting up. The plan is to keep him there for a couple of months until he's buff enough to go back to his natural habitat.
The head honcho at the Rescue Society was like, "Yeah, this lil dude was probably only a day or two old when we found him." They're expecting to rescue a ton more seals soon. Like, up to 200 pups might need their help. This just shows how important their work is 💪.
PSA for all the beachgoers: If you spot a seal that looks like it's struggling, don't be a hero. Hit up the rescue center and let them handle it, cause a seal in danger might be kind of a scary encounter. Just give the seal some space for a day so they can be on their way, or else call the hotline! It's all about keeping these animals safe.
