Okay, listen up, art baes! Abraham Anghik Ruben, this Inuit artist from Northwest Territories, is having a major moment at the WAG-Qaumajuq. His solo exhibition is gonna be lit, showing off over 50 years of his work. We're talking stone carvings, paintings – the whole aesthetic.

His work is gonna be on display in the Qilak gallery, and it's HUGE – 8,000 square feet, to be exact. No cap, it's a whole homecoming for Ruben, 'cause he had his first solo show at the WAG almost 25 years ago. This exhibition is named after the artist, so you know it's personal. He said it's all about honoring what his parents and elders taught him, and his art is inspired by Inuit and Norse myths. It opens to the public on Saturday, but there is a free celebration this Friday at 7pm.
